VARSITY:

The Hatboro-Horsham Ice Hockey Club fields a team at the Varsity (grades 9-12) level.  All players must attend the Hatboro-Horsham High School to be eligible to play.  

LEAGUE:

The Varsity Team is full member of the SHSHL (Suburban High School Hockey League) and plays in the American Division. 

SEASON:

The Varsity season runs from September through February/March.  Games are played on weeknights (Wednesday, Thursday or Friday) at local rinks (Hatfield, BCI, Revolution Ice Gardens, Grundy).   The regular season SHSHL schedule is usually between 15-17 games with the potential for additional playoff and Flyers Cup Games.   The season also includes the traditional Thanksgiving Eve Rivalry game and a special Senior Night Game.    

PRACTICE:

The Varsity team practices on Monday nights from 5pm-6pm at Hatfield Ice on the Green Rink.  Practices run from the first Monday after Labor Day until the end of February (roughly 22-24 full ice slots)

COSTS:

Varsity Tuition is $1,300.  There are discounts for goalies and paying in full.  The club offers a monthly payment plan from September to January.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

All players must register separately with USA Hockey (additional cost).  All players must also purchase Home & Away jerseys at an additional cost.  The Varsity team wears the traditional white home jersey and a special Varsity only black jersey for away games.

MIDDLE SCHOOL:

The Hatboro-Horsham Ice Hockey Club would like to field a Middle School team for the 2025-26 season.  The team is dependent on securing enough players (roughly 10-12 skaters and a goalie) along with a volunteer coaching staff.

LEAGUE:

The Middle School Team is full member of the SHSHL (Suburban High School Hockey League) and is placed in a division based on skill level and experience using a "Matrix" that is submitted by each team in the league.  Players in grades 5-8 are eligible to play on the Middle School team and must attend Keith Valley Middle School (6th-8th grade)  or a Hatboro-Horsham Elementary School as a 5th grader (Simmons, Hallowell, Blair Mill or Crooked Billet)

The Middle School season runs from October through February.  Games are played on Sunday nights at local rinks (Hatfield, BCI, Revolution Ice Gardens, Grundy).   The regular season SHSHL schedule is usually between 10-12 games with the potential for additional playoff and non-league games.

PRACTICE:

The Middle School practice ice slot is TBD but will most likely be every other week (at Hatfield Ice) on Monday nights shared half-ice with another SHSHL Middle School Team.
